Meet Craig and Nick from MiniBuild – Aluminium Fit and Install Specialists from Brisbane and RSEA Safety Regulars
We caught up with Craig and Nick from MiniBuild, aluminium fitting specialists based near Brisbane, QLD. Regulars to our RSEA Safety Acacia Ridge store, check out what Minibuild do and see what their day looks like! Who is MiniBuild and what do you do? The MiniBuild team is Craig Tierney and Nick Landman, cousins and workmates who’ve been working together for one year. Every day can mean a new site for the Minibuild guys who specialise in aluminium installs and install everything from gates, privacy screens, shutters and awnings. What sort of workwear and safety gear do you use for your work? Daily work requires hi vis clothing including the ELEVEN Workwear Micromesh Polos, CAT Machine shorts, FXD Socks and a good pair of Blundstone Workboots. Cut resistant gloves and other PPE is used especially when working with sharp edges fitting and installing new screens or awnings. Depending on the job, fall arrest systems are used for height safety when jobs are on the second story or above. What do you do get up to after work? Off the job site Craig is a semi-professional mountain biker and Nick is quite handy with a camera. Check out some of their work on Instagram @crogtierney and @nick_landman_captures.
