This fabric is a microfibre so it is inherently quick drying. As a result of using this material, your top will keep you cool and dry because moisture and perspiration will evaporate quickly. CHAMBRAY The lightweight, primarily cotton fabric known as chambray is a plain weave fabric and is generally used for clothing where keeping cool is a primary focus. Although Chambray is primarily a lightweight fabric, it is also made in heavier weights for various applications. MICRO (POLAR) FLEECE Polar (Polyester) Fleece is an extremely durable & light weight fabric that not only holds in warmth but resists moisture and dries quickly. Unlike many other synthetic woolly textiles, polyester fleece does not pill-bunch up into little balls-after extended use. DENIM Denim is a sturdy cotton twill textile. This twill weaving produces the familiar diagonal ribbing of the denim. Over time, denim will usually fade and during the process of wear, fading will usually occur on those parts of the garment that receive the most stress. COTTON-BACK POLYESTER MESH A microfibre fabric on the outside which is knitted with a cotton fibre on the inside. The cotton layer sits against your skin to give you that cool cotton feel, while the polyester provides the fluorescent colour you need for optimal high visibility. RIPSTOP Ripstop fabrics are woven fabrics, often made of Cotton, using a special reinforcing technique that makes them resistant to tearing and ripping. Advantages of Ripstop are the favourable strength-to-weight ratio and that small tears can not easily spread. 3M™ SCOTCHLITE™ Garments using 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material have improved visibility, especially in night time conditions. It works by utilising millions of high performance glass beads to reflect light back towards the original light source. POLYESTER A synthetic material that is ideal for wet and damp environments because of its hydrophobic tendencies. It can be blended with Cotton for added comfort, is wrinkle resistant and light weight. It’s primary use in workwear clothing is its ability to display fluorescent colours. CANVAS A heavy, coarse, closely woven fabric of cotton, hemp, or flax, which was traditionally used for tents and ship sails. Manufacturers use this material because of its ability to be extremely hard wearing and easy to manufacture. POLYESTER OXFORD WITH PU COATING Used primarily in jackets, this waterproof fabric that has a membrane between the Polyester and the PU (polyurethane) coating to provide breathability while keeping you dry. CORDURA® Internationally recognised as the leader in durable fabrics, it has resistance to abrasions, tears and scuffs. Manufacturers use this hard wearing fabric to reinforce key stress points like knees and external pockets. COTTON DRILL Cotton Drill, a stout durable fabric with a strong bias (diagonal) in the weave, is often used for safety workwear because it’s able to withstand conditions that would damage ordinary cotton. Light & heavy weight weaves are available to suite various applications.
