SEE DETAILS BELOW TO ARRANGE A SITE VISIT IN PARTNERSHIP WITH Whether you are ordering for yourself or for a major site safety initiative, RSEA Safety offer frames and medium impact safety lenses to suit your safety requirements. RSEA is partnering with All Australian Safety’s certified opticians to provide you with this cost effective and efficient service. All safety prescription eyewear is manufactured to comply with Australian Standards and will be supplied with an SAI Global Licensed Medium Impact certificate. ON-SITE FITTING & SUPPLY OF SAFETY PRESCRIPTION EYEWEAR Please contact your nearest RSEA store on 132 100, or speak to your RSEA Safety Representative to organise an on-site fitting and supply by a certified optician. Site visits for Metro areas will be conducted within 24 to 48 hours. Site visits for regional and county areas have a 1 to 2 week lead time and require a minimum of 8 employees to be fitted. SITE VISIT ARRANGEMENTS All Australian Safety’s (AAS) certified opticians will arrive on-site to provide “best fit” safety prescription eyewear to each individual employee on-site. AAS consider all on-site factors when assessing an individuals eyewear needs; • Environment; • Workplace conditions; • Prescription and visual requirements; • Personalised eyewear adhering to Australian Standards; • Quality Product tailored to employer’s workforce special needs. Technical & Functional Requirements AAS certified opticians will arrange suitable times to be on-site for the purpose of assessing all employees’ prescription specifications to our range of selected frames. Standards/Certifications & Quality Requirements AAS is committed to providing safety prescription eyewear that complies with all the relevant and current Australian Standards, AS/NZS 1337, AS/NZS 1337.6, AS/NZS 1336 and AS 2228.1. Health, Safety & Environment Requirements The on-site service given by AAS requires the use of a small and clean area with a power supply and easy access for employees (such as first aid or lunch rooms). AAS Certified Opticians will discuss in detail with each employee their full requirements of each work-site, section/department & work they are involved in, taking into consideration high temperatures, chemical, dust environments and varying light conditions. Appointment requirements The timing for the future appointments will be based on all shift situations. AAS are very flexible and accommodating to shift times outside the standard 9am & 5pm business hours. Delivery requirements Allow 2 weeks for delivery of completed safety prescription eyewear unless informed otherwise. Ongoing service and any follow up work such as fitting, repairs or replacement can be organised directly with AAS. Payment All orders for safety eyewear are firm orders and non refundable.
